Phuket Tournament Review
Queens Park had a successful and enjoyable trip in 2010.

Queens Park and Canning represented Australia in the 2008 Andaman 7s tournament (6th Phuket International Soccer tournament) played at FIFA Phuket Tsunami Football Centre. Other teams came from as far as France, Italy, Singapore, Scotland, England, Germany, Switzerland and Thailand to compete.
After a slow start, the QP team finished 2nd in the group stage, advancing to the quarter finals. By far the youngest team in the tournament, Queens Park performed well, but lost to Azzurri 2-1 and were relegated to the B Plate Cup. Tom Cullen took out the clubs golden boot and other standout players included Robbie Eastern, Tyrone Woodfin and Dan Brown. Rhys Bufton also impressed coach Mick Brazil and captain Dan Evans
